I was trying to get my Ferguson TO 30 to run smoothly, I had what appeared to be a nice hot blue spark if I put the coil wire at the block and yet the spark to teh engine was so weak it would run but not light a timing light. I assumed the wire was good since I could actually arc the coil wire into teh cap and the tractor ran better then in the cap, however further investigation proved that the coil wire and no 1 spark plug wire were reading open with an Ohm meter, once I resolved this I had a good spark to teh engine and no more plug fouling.
