I don't see anything wrong with it. They waste a lot less rare iron than they do in any given movie or cop show. Plus it can be educational. They aren't going around and stealing all this old crap - they are buying it, just like everyone else. If someone wants to save them all, go ahead, Jesse and his gang will find something else to work on.
