If your looking at an 06 or 07 series, they were excelent tractors in there day. And today they still are a good reliable utility tractor, if you can find one that's been taken care of. I've kept at least one Deutz tractor on my farm since i bought the first one over 25 years ago. There's still lots of Deutz tractors on farms around here still earning there keep, in fact i bet i can show you at least 20 of them still working on farms within a 5 mile radius of here. I haven't seen the overheating problem that was mentioned by another poster, and i find it a lot easier to wipe the air intake screen off on my air/oil cooled tractors than trying to blow out the radiator on my liquid cooled tractors. As for the cylinder fins plugging, they are a lot further apart than the fins on a radiator so they don't plug nearly as easy. BTW, i've sold every Deutz tractor i've owned for more than i paid for it even after useing it for many years. It must me the green paint... :>) Robert
