My dad and I sell Reese Hay mowers. They have several different models, but we like the plain and simple ones. I think the 8' model has like 8 moving parts. Basically, if you aren't an idiot and don't try to cut down a fence post you won't mess it up. Wait, I take that back, we did have a guy try to do that and it just broke the shear bold on the lower link of the mower. Put in a new one and kept going. That is a true story. Also, the Reese mower has a gauge wheel on one end and a small skid next to the tractor. You can set it to have clearance over the ground you are mowing so you don't break the stems over. With this, you will have faster regrowth. Forgot to mention, no gearboxes. So all in all, no oil, fewer moving parts and runs quieter.
