600 or 801 powermaster

I have the oppotunity to buy an 801 powermaster with bad powersteering, and 6 volt system, decent paint and runs good, or buy a 600, new paint front end loader, questionable running performance, has been known to stop running every now and then, owner states could be dirt in fuel tank. I want to mow with 6 foot brushhog, which unit would be the best bang for the buck? 801-$2800 or 600-$2550
