I would check the suction line to the pump if it has hoses with clamps somewhere in the suction line it might be sucking air that will cause a chatter also check your suction screen in the resvore if it has one if a suction screen is partlly pluged up the chatter will be worse with cold oil. Also hoses with clamps will suck air but will not leak oil. Don
