Has anyone else noticed this?

When I try to log in on Ebay, I get a security
alert that says;
You are about to be redirected
to a connection that is not secure.
The information you are sending to the current site may be transmitted to a nonsecure site.
Do you wish to continue? The weird thing is, if I click 'no' and hit the back button, it logs me in. Am I just being paranoid, or what`s that all about. I guess things are just safer here on YT.
The problem is that they don`t sell boat seats, or hunting backpacks.
