Don't be beating yourself up, I used to ride horsess and there is no way to know what one of them will do at anytime. I had one that wouldn't hurt a flea and you could hang 10 kids on him. He spooked one day and threw me but that just happens no matter how much you try to avoid it. Got away from them and ride motorcycles now. They can't think for themselves but still dangerous. I know of few people who ride horses that haven't been thrown, kinda goes with the territory. Hope she gets better soon and we're sending prayers for her.
