Thanks to all. I used a can and pushed the end on the frame of the rock picker. About 3 soup cans full of fluid and the picker was resting on the ground. Then I got the fitting together. Hell of a mess, but it works now. I can't figure why I couldn't get it to connect when I picked it up off the ground with the loader...must still have been pressurized, not just weighted. Thanks again.
