Gosh, we used to play that all the time as kids. Our rules were pretty basic. One person was "it". They had to guard the can and find the other players. The rest of the players went and hid (hide and seek). The guard would have to find the other players while keeping a close eye on the can. If the guard found you he would run back to the can, jump over it, and yell your name and you had to go to a "jail" (for us, usually the porch). There you`d sit till someone "kicked the can" without being seen by the guard, or outran the guard and kicked it before he could jump over it. Once the can was kicked, everyone got out of jail, and it all started over. Usually, things ended up in an arguement over who jumped over or kicked the can first. Kinda like when we used to play war, after about 5 minutes it was hand to hand combat over who shot who first. Fun times Brokenwrench
