The ones that stayed with us for 10 days (6 of them) are part of a clan that has lived in the area for centuries. To live elsewhere is unthinkable......well almost.

The 43 year old woman (middle aged clan person....some older, some younger) who lost everything and cut her leg trying to grapple onto a second story roof during the storm surge, and has gan green in the wound, in remission (thankgoodness), has mentioned that when she and FEMA negotiate payment for her home, she will place the next one (trailer house) up towards Hattiesburg, not on a creek in the Back Bay area like the last one.
