You can make it get by with spike shovel. Don't think it would manage a wider twist 4 inch shovel. What soil do you have? It would not work in my heavy clay soil at all, but you likely have something lighter to even consider it?

Question is, what do you want to accomplish? Chiseling shatters soil, so best to do it in drier conditions, and move kinda fast, and go kinda deep.

You will have problems going deep or fast with such low hp per shovel. You will also put a lot of work on your tractor, going to stress it some.
