I personally like the Fordson Major tractors. Most were diesels but you did not say if this one is. The value depends on what type leak you have with the engine. Also check the oil for milky color which indicates water in the oil which can be caused by a bad head gasket or piston O ring seals leaking. If tires are decent and no major problem with the above I think it is a fair price.
