The weight is probably the biggest reason that Woods specifies 50-150 horsepower tractor. It certainly doesn't take 50 HP minimim to cut with a 6 foot mower. But it does take a tractor with a Cat II three point hitch and heavy operating weight to keep the front wheels on the ground when you're using a 1300 lb mower.
