The heat pump wins hands down as long as the temps are 35F and above.
The Harman model 45 stoker takes either grain or wood pellets to allow more fuel choices.
45,000 btu max so that will carry main heating load of any residence.
The 45 does not require a conventional chimmney,is thermostat controled and is self igniting.
