I am on my 4th PowerStroke, having had a 97, 99, 02, and now an 05, and I have NEVER had ANY problem with any of them. There were a couple of recalls, one on the fuel tank mounting bracket,and the other on the air filter box, but as long as you keep the oil changed, the air filter clean, it is well deserving of carrying on the Ford Quality tradition.
