Paul: 2000,3000,4000 Series - 1965 beginning serial number is C100000-1966 beginning serial number is C123000- 1967 beginning serial number is C160000-1968 beginning serial number is 188000. These are for 3-cylinder tractors made in the U.S. It's possible your tractor was built in an ather country. Also maybe the engine was repaced with a factory engine explaining the odd serial number. Hope this info helps.
