I'm one of the ones that barely knows what 2 cycle oil is!! It is crazy how some things work so well even when abused. I have a $69 homelite weedeater that I've had for 13 years. I mix the 2 cycle oil in the gas tank with gas based on complete guesswork. I used to have red 2 cycle oil but the last batch I bought was green! I've never changed the sparkplug and only cleaned the airfilter on it one time in 13 years and it still runs like a top.
