I called Lowes today and they do indeed have the multi ratio Pro Mix two cycle oil.We need it because of all the 32/1 and 50/1 weedeaters, blowers, and ect. These machines are getting used a lot wearing the labels off showing the mixture ratio.Lots of different boys using them too that don't have a clue what two cycle oil even is.We have had exellent luck in our 50/1 and 32/1 using the same thing for all with a lot less gas jugs and headscratching.Jack(TN).

Glad you found the oil you wanted.
I have an old Maytag engine that hadn't been started in 30-35 years, my grandson wanted to know if it would run, we put in some two stroke mix and fired it off. I told my grandson that I bet it was the first two stroke oil it ever tasted.

Jak,

Glad you found what you're looking for. The only reason I bought any was the fact I was out and that was on the shelf. I don't get too wrapped around the axle concerning stuff like 2 cycle oil. Like I said before, I've had 30 years of success using outboard 2 cycle oil with no ill effects. But with your inexperienced help, having a bottle marked so they can squirt it out no doubt helps. Way, way, back.....I remember dad mixing non detergent 30 weight for his ancient Power Products 2 cycle mower. I think it was a 16" cut! Smoked like a freight train, fouled the plug but ran forever. That was just 40+ years ago.

Yep! About 1960 we had a David-Bradley chain saw . Mix was a half pint of oil to a gallon of gas(@$0.199). The nineteen inch saw weighed thirty pounds with full oil and fuel tanks.
Them were the days.

Two stroke oil is a premium quality lube oil that will still lubricate even when diluted 50 to 1 with a solvent like gasoline. The additive package and the oil blend have to be ashless when they burn. Or the engine will foul with soot and hard metalic deposits.

I'm one of the ones that barely knows what 2 cycle oil is!!

It is crazy how some things work so well even when abused. I have a $69 homelite weedeater that I've had for 13 years. I mix the 2 cycle oil in the gas tank with gas based on complete guesswork. I used to have red 2 cycle oil but the last batch I bought was green! I've never changed the sparkplug and only cleaned the airfilter on it one time in 13 years and it still runs like a top.
