thanks for the info dan. i did buy the hy-trans 134 today at a walmart and it works fine. i also put it in the tranny, but will continue to use the heavier gear oil in the diff. i have the owners manual,( bought on-line ) and a shop manual, but neither of these state which type of oil to use, they simply say " use the correct oil " which i wasn't but i'm squared away now. jason
