Forgive me if I go off on a tangent. I was reading an article in the (British ) Farmers weekly recently . It showed how farming has progressed in Russia. It showed a picture of what can only be described as a flock of tractors( They were Case actually not Belarus ) with enormous sets of discs behind them all in a line waiting to go into a field. Apparently they are buying a lot of tackle from North America these days. The price of feed wheat in UK is about �60 a ton and rent might be around �100 an acre. In Russia the price of feed wheat is �60 a ton and land rent is �8 an acre. Who is laughing now?
