Spent the day at the annual Washington County Fair pulling Contest. Have been in the stands or along trackside for 48 years. Witnessed 450 vs 720; 730 vs 560; 806 vs 4020 etc. Today's sled drug hard with diggers. Must say, considering the test of time, I was extremely impressed with the 560's, 1066's and 4440's. Well over 100 mostly off-the -farm tractors every year. Today it was the 560's beating the 4020's; the 4440's hauling sled; and the 1066's unbelievable.
