I would think that you could drop most any mid size engine in there, if you're creative enough. Ford used their own Brazilian 6.6's (401), and 7.8's in those trucks as well. Lots of school buses from the mid eighties had them. An IH DT466 would also be a good choice, with lots of different power specs. You might also look at a C series Cummins. A littler bigger, but more power. If you want to go with a B series, then at least get a high spec engine around 210 hp. That will at least be close to the fuel pincher. Personally, I'd scrap the truck before fixing a bloody old fuel pincher. V-8's and me don't mix. Best of luck.....
