Anyone considering brewing up their own fuel on the farm?Maybe there is a really good side to having restored all of these old gas burner tractors? Will an ATF permit be a part of the process? I just read where ethanol can be produced for $.90 a gallon.Don't know if that is true or not. How about making/crushing your own soybean oil for diesel tractors? How many gallons of oil is there in a bushel of beans? How much does a gallon of bean oil cost to produce today? Which of the two options would be more feasable to do today?I am thinking we have in no way seen the top in fuel prices.Nor do I think we will have unlimited access to supplies in the near future. Lets not be talked out of this by the big business guys once again.
