i'm not sure what your costs are but a no-till drill can be rented (atleast around here) for $5-6 an acre. one pass over the field. minus seed your gonna have alot more than that just in fuel and wear and tear on your equipment. your seed would be in and growing towards a better stand before winter. now your just twideling your thumbs waiting for the rain to end, ground to dry alittle and nothing is growing 'cept weeds. come on man, you gotta think profit!
