A few years ago in Illinois, a Chicago attorney filed one against McDonalds over dropping their Monopoly game. The deal was that persons in the security firm had figured out where and how to get the winning pieces (or whatever they were) and were getting to their friends. McDonalds found out about it, went to the authorities, the FBI got involved and asked McDonalds to cooperate by letting the game continue. Once they made the busts, McDonalds abruptly halted the game, explaining the situation. The Chicago attorney promptly filed a class action stating that folks only ate at McDonalds because of the Monopoly game. When interviewed, the attorney said that it only takes 20 people to sign on to a class action, which he rounded up. The suit was for millions, but never heard the outcome or out of court settlement. As I understand it, once a class action is settled, it takes anymore suits off of the table, including just ones, should there be such a thing. Kraft foods went through one years ago when the company that printed the winning wrappers mistakenly made EVERYONE winners. It was an obvious mistake, but still, folks lined up to get their new autos, yaghts, or whatever they won, and since didn't get them, law suits. No common sense anymore, lawyers sued to have it removed. And if you don't like what I just said, sue me. Mark
