Yeah, hundreds of millions of dollars and 50%-75% goes to the lawyers and the people that lost money get pennies - as posted below.

I was part of the Ford "class action" on their electronic ignition settlement - paid for the repair myself and was assured of reimbursement through the class action lawsuit - never saw a dime. If that's the payout I'd rather see a healthy American car company then a bunch of rich lawyers driving imports.
