O/T: Dexter cows

Heard through the grapevine that these are neat little beasts. Only about 3 feet tall fully grown and give 1 - 3 gallons of milk a day. Anybody have any experience with these? Between my dad and I, we mow about 5 acres around here just to keep the weeds down, and I'm wondering if these wouldn't be a better way to do it? How about purchase price? Maintenance? Are they a "sickly" type cow? Just trying to wrap my mind around some new ideas; any opinions/input is welcome. Thanks, Anthony
