You are catching on to our concerns. I can understand the rust from sitting. What I didn't understand was all the "other" work on a NEW engine that has been sitting.

I bought a tractor from an old dude once and he said that the local farm shop put in a rebuilt engine and now it doesn't run....in short they took out a diesel and installed a very worn out gasser that used to be an LP (cause you could see the LP water spiggot on the water inlet casting.

Needless to say it was well worn out. But I bought it for a song, not running, and fixed it up.
