What works great for that tedious task is either a magnet just on a handle, or even better a 12" magnet on wheels. Just go up & down the driveway with that a few times & you'll be amazed... We just had to fix a tire on our gehl 970 wagon a little while back because of a nail, and then our 1855 Ollie found a spring tooth from our wheel rake. The wire came off the wheel that holds onto the coils after they break off. just wraps around the wheel inside the coils, works pretty good too. Donovan from Wisconsin
