Started using that in my old F150 with a 302 last winter. It had some pretty bad lifter noise at start up that went away after 20 miles of driving.

The sythetic blends (like Castrol)SHOULD be cheaper but they are trying to get away with charging a premium price by riding on Mobile 1's reputation. Went with the Rottela simply because their price was midway between dino and Mobil 1's price and their reputation.
