Blow-By ( Comes and goes)

Hello y'all.
OK, I have a 1976 Ford 550 Backhoe. When I start it up, there is some blow by in the form of a white smoke coming out of the stink tube. It appears about 2 minutes after I have started up the motor cold. The blow by lasts about 5 minutes, then once the engine gets hot, the blow by disappears. I can use the tractor for two hours, with no blow by, but then the blow by appears again. Does this sound normal?
