I know exactly how you feel. However, I dodged a bullet today. Took my homemade cattle trailer to pick up a corral gate. Two of the old car tires on the trailer have been leaking down, but the last I checked they were up. Wrong! When I got to the dealer they were almost flat. Stopped at a convience store where I had to pay $.50 for air to pump them up, which was better than a flat. On top of that, I forgot to get the hinge parts that screw into the post. Another trip in the morning. Now, since misery loves company maybe you will feel better.
See what you mean about the heavy truck springs.
