Well - in the case of New Holland - the company is headquartered in Italy. In the past few years there has also been an influx of "yuppie" tractors from Korea (Kioti, Branson, Montana, Century, etc). A lot of people are buying these (even though the price is more than they're worth) because they just gotta have a new machine. These companies are overpriced, but they can still undercut the prices of new JD and other real tractors, so people buy them. Even Cub Kadet is made in Korea now - hence the drop in price and quality (and the ability to sell at TSC).
