Back when I worked heavy equipment, I didn't need to get a key from the owner of the equipment. If working John Deere, my key would fit from the smallest tractor to the largest piece of equipment John Deere made. Most equipment was that way, one key fit all. I never thought there was problem with that, and still don't.. And If a thief wants something bad enough, color it gone.
