i got to looking at our cub cadet tractor (36 horsepower 4 cyl. diesel) and have been kind of thinking about converting the exaust from down and out front corner, to up through the hood.

where the exaust pipe comes out of the muffler, it does a 90 degree turn straight down, and then goes down about a foot and a half then 45 degrees toward the front and out.

now, what i was thinking about doing is takin my air cut off tool, cutting jus before the 90, and sending it through the hood. keep in mind, this is just a project to putter with, not something that has to be done. what do ya'll think? sorry for long post. i have thought about clearance, but we never have folded the ROPS down in 5 years, so dont see why we will, any problems that i dont see?
