Harley Iknow your son is correct.I do not know how the service men can stand the heat with all the gear they wear and have to carry.I have been to Iraq numerous times.Was in Basrah in 1957 when they had a heat wave and even the natives were complaining. One hundred thirty six degrees every day for 10 consecitive days.I was on board a steam ship in the black gang (enging room).Don"t know what the temp. was cause it broke the thermometer.We could only stay below on watch two hours at a time.The sea temp or river temp in that region stays 104-05 all summer long.Go figure.I know that this seems impossible.
