Rick, My tractor shows 12 volts from starter relay to the coil when cranking and 12 volts form the other wire coming back from the switch going to coil. So with this 1971 ford 2000 with a 12 volt coil it should be 6 volts from the switch wire, right. If this is right is it hard to find the resitor or can I buy another and but it in the line at some other place. Thanks for information.
