Unless you are certain that this is an ignition problem,you may want to suspect a vapor lock in the fuel system.When it shuts down immediately check for bubbles in the filter bowl.As an alternative try topping of the gas tank.A bit more head pressure will raise the vapor flash point somewhat.I have had to insulate between the engine and gas tank to overcome a similar problem on a couple of Fords.
