I scrapped a wercked 74 factory 302 Maverick. Not sure if the exhaust manifolds were anything special. One part, the power steering pump was a V8 Maverick/Comet part only because of the incredibly tight fit of a V8 in that engine bay. Service was all but impossible with a hot engine, and nearly as bad when it was cold. I ran a 70 with the Grabber package with a hopped up 300 truck engine. The fit was very little tighter than a stock 200-250 and with a Clifford 4 bbl intake, cam and headers,it was fast. It had torque more like 3/4 of a 400,rather than like an all rpm,no torque 302.
