I have one that I think works really well. When I was a kid I hit a coat hanger piece and it launched across the yard and into my sister's leg. Since then I prefer not to hold the grass chute up on the mower. This of course causes windrows in my lawn. What I did was build and offset hitch for my mower. The lawn sweeper hooks on about 18 inches from center. Then I just pull the sweeper along as I mow. I dump the clippings in the cow lot. The cows eat it like candy (they run to the fence when they hear the mower).
