Hi Jim, I'm just in a picky mood today. Actually, most all the Ford's past '65 had Ford engines. There were exceptions for certain markets, but Ford mostly designed and built their own engines. I think they used a local built Perkins in some of the tractors sold in Africa, or mabey some South American countries. I can't remember which, but I read that somewhere too. Perkins bad word.
