I"m going to make one more comment. I"d look for a tractor with a convential clutch and gear shift, and leave the powershifts, torque ampfires, select o matic, speed o matics and whatever other names they have alone. Like the transmission in an old used car, they are often the reason the previous owner has gotten rid of the beast. They can be expensive to fix, quite beyond the abilites of the average shade tree mechanic. Most anybody with help from a buddy can replace a clutch in a straight shift. Just my thoughts.
