Compression check 1]Operating temperature 2]All plugs out 3]Coil wire out 4]Throttle wide open 5] Crank 5 times over 6] Observe how fast the gauge goes up within first 2 revs Helps to have a helper' Make sure battery voltage up right up What are the rest of the readings? Are there any signs of compression going by the head gasket? While you have the head off then invest in some "crack detector" from the parts store. Comes in 3 parts.
