What about flushing radiators

My 184 cub runs hot. I have tried replacing the radiator cap. It doesn't have a thermostst as they are gravity feed on the coolant. Is ther something that will work real well to flush a radiator of twenty eight years of gunk or do I just get a new radiator? Also could it be timing making it heat up? It starts easy and runs good, does aeam to lose some power once warm. Thanks for the help.
