has it had the cam sensor replaced yet, or water pump, or the glow plug switch replaced or somekind of sensor in the fuel filter bowl.this is some of the things I have had to do to my 2000 F250 SD PS. Heard this was common, have no proof, just hearsay. As for value, go to Kelly Blue Book(KBB.com) and you can plug in all the info on that unit and get a rough guess on price.
