I was not a big fan of safety switchs until my son (youg at the time but expereneced) hit a bump that pitched him from the seat. His shoe lace caught on the brake lock knob so he did not fall free of the machine. If the seat switch had not shut the engine off he would have been dragged along for who knows how long. He was on a 316 John Deere. Made a beleiver of me.
BUT that reverse switch would drive me crazy because I have a lot to mow around.
