If it really is an 850, it will be either a '55, '56 or '57. When the 800 series was upgraded to the 801 series, the serial numbers started over. The same serial number could be a '55 850 or a '58 851 so be careful. Here's a direct link to the Ford Vintage Tractor Resource serial number page
