Horsepower shortage

I just bought a MF 255 rated at 53hp at the pto. I tried to run a friends NH #411 discbine with it and almost burnt up the clutch on it. Also my tractor is very sluggish with it. Is my tractor under powered? Also, is there a website available to get Hp ratings for implements?
