If you jack up one of these tractors with loaded tires and maybe wheel weights and a loader at the trumpet it is probably stronger than thought and the seating area might just get smaller, not an automatic kill zone. I would rather have rops than not.
The rops for the fords says to have an upgraded seat.
The rops is 6-12" above your head, so if you constantly have something in this zone maybe you need to do something about the area or get an orchard tractor.
Rops is for an unplanned accident, not your normal work practices.
I think cost is why more people don't have rops.
